South Farm holiday cottages with fishing in the Blackdown Hills, Devon
Our self catering holiday cottages are nestled on the gentle slopes of the Blackdown Hills between Honiton and Cullompton in East Devon. South Farm offers 7 self-contained, rural holiday homes, all with free mixed coarse fishing. It is an idyllic family destination within an area of outstanding natural beauty, less than an hour’s drive from Exmoor or Dartmoor. All guests at South Farm can enjoy stunning views and share the wonderful facilities, and free fishing on our lakes
The full complement of accommodation sleeps 46. Perfect for large groups and families to celebrate special get togethers like Hen or Stag parties, special birthdays or anniversaries. Our wonderful Farmhouse (sleeps 10) and its annexe, Oaktree Cottage (sleeps 6) is often let together to sleep 16 but can be let separately. We also have Stables Cottage (Sleeps 6), Cinders Cottage (Sleeps 6), our seasonal Carp Lodge (sleeps 6), Coshes Garden (sleeps 5), Lake Cottage (sleeps 4) and Swallow Cottage (Sleeps 2). The grounds are extensive with picnic tables and BBQ’s available and there is children’s play-area with trampoline and play tower also a tennis court for a ‘knock about’. A games barn with badminton, table tennis, toys, books and board games are ideal for children to let off steam, there is also an adults’ gym, hot tub and solar heated seasonal outdoor swimming pool for all to enjoy. Close to the self-catering holiday cottages are three well-stocked Carp / coarse fishing lakes.
