Also Visit the historical City of Exeter, the regional capital only 30 minutes drive or bustling Taunton just 25 minutes drive.
Apart from fishing in our lakes, strolling our quiet lanes and enjoying the birdsong and peace, we have access to adjoining Woodland Trust woods. Within walking distance there is also the Sheldon Equestrian Centre, Hollies trout fishery. There is also good cycling, along the quiet country lanes.
Or you could take to the skies and after visiting the Memorial Museum at Dunkeswell airfield, launch yourself out of a plane parachuting, go gliding, learn to fly or drift overhead in a hot air balloon from Exeter. For the adventurous, there is 4x4 driving range, go-karting, hiking or mountain bike riding on our own Blackdown hills, Dartmoor or Exmoor and surfing off the golden beaches of North Devon.

The Wyndham Arms is a grade II listed historic coaching inn, situated within the beautiful Mid Devon village of Kentisbeare.
The Wyndham Arms is a traditional Devon pub, welcoming locals and visitors alike. It was saved from permanent closure in July 2008 by the Villagers of Kentisbeare.
